The beautiful Assisi an hour away, the city of the 13th century saints Francis and Clara of Assisi is a famous place of pilgrimage, which is also appreciated by tourists for its hilly, narrow streets and picturesque shops and its many sights such as the Basilica di S. Chiarra, Cattedrale S. Rufino, Basilica Francesco and the castle Rocca Maggiore.
